Info-graphics (or Information Graphics) are visual models or pictures of data, statistics, or any knowledge of the sort. Most people and companies use info-graphics to make things more appealing to the eye. With that, people absorb the data alot more simply and wont bore a reader. The general idea of info graphics existed for many centuries, the first known recording of it was in 1626. Info-graphics are extremely similar to graphics design. When you make a logo or a vector of something, you want to send a message with that. The picture itself speaks to others, and shows the creativity of the publisher, while also supplying useful information. You see a good info-graphic that catches your eye? It's made by a graphic designer that knows how to display information with style.
Here are some info-graphic examples:
This info-graphic shows how plastics effect marine animals.
Shows how to be an entrepreneur!
Shows the fastest swimmers!
How we dress! ;)
Info-graph of an info-graph!
Do you eat like an average American?
The biggest smokers.
When we need a break from our brain.
War is always an option.
Smile for the info-graph!
